A place where the sky blends with the sea, a calmness that goes through your bones, a breeze that you can feel with your whole being, a shade of blue that looks electric to the eye, the sound of waves crashing, a view that feels like a blessing; that’s my idea of paradise.

I started making art because of all the beauty around me. It was one way to experience it first hand, to play with its colors, to transform it the way I wanted to. Of course, you’re not aware of that in the beginning, of how art can save you, how so many people feel drawn to it in every way. I did feel the pull, so magnetic and strong that I couldn’t oppose, and I’m so grateful I followed along. There is such a long way ahead. ♥️

I love it when I let go and let the canvas tell me what it needs, what it wants to be, how it wants to look like. While building up the colors, shades after shades, the colors mix up into what they want to, shaping the result and giving me indications of their final form.
You don’t always have to be in control, painting has taught me that letting loose and releasing can be such a beautiful thing. 🕊️
