In a recent interview with Agenda Construcțiilor, Emanuel Vișan, Co-founder & Managing Partner at Quadratum Architecture, outlines a new investment cycle focused on healthcare, educational campuses, critical infrastructure and urban regeneration.

The discussion also addresses the accelerated shift towards Digital Twin models and predictive building management, where technical data becomes central to the operation and long-term planning of the built environment.

Within this context, Quadratum has developed Q.Bit, a new digital infrastructure platform for 3D scanning, robotic inspection and AI-assisted analysis of public assets. The platform integrates LiDAR scanning, autonomous robotics, BIM processing and AI analysis to generate reusable digital models, risk maps and prioritized technical reports.

Q.bit is the new digital division developed by Quadratum Architecture for high-precision spatial documentation, AI-based analysis and digital reporting. The system integrates 3D capture, point cloud processing, defect detection and technical documentation into a controlled workflow, from field scanning to final deliverable.

Streets, sidewalks, parks, public buildings, façades, roofs and interiors can be recorded as georeferenced 3D models with an accuracy of up to ±2 mm. The platform combines proprietary operational control with advanced scanning infrastructure, translating the real condition of a site into measurable data.

Quadratum Architecture was represented by Vasile Revin, Technical Director, at Baumit Life Challenge 2026, held from 20–22 May in Budapest. The event brought together architects, builders, investors and Baumit partners to award some of the most inspiring façade projects in Europe.

This year’s edition highlighted the façade as both a technical and architectural element, with a focus on materials, colour, texture, construction quality and the relationship between buildings and their urban context.

Quadratum participated at AI WEEK 2026, Europe largest Artificial Intelligence event, held on 19–20 May at Milan, Fiera Rho.

The event brings together professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers and technology leaders around the current applications of artificial intelligence across industries.

Quadratum’s participation focused on understanding these shifts from a professional perspective: how emerging technologies can be integrated critically into architectural practice, without replacing spatial judgement, contextual analysis or design responsibility.

Ștefania Petrișor, Architect at Quadratum Architecture, participated as a speaker in the 8th edition of the Building HOME International Good Living Forum.

The discussion focused on the tension between two persistent references: the legacy of the standardized apartment and the memory of a lost form of dwelling, associated with the rural house, the accessible exterior, and a way of life extending beyond interior walls.

Between these two models, contemporary housing has often developed in fragmented and inconsistent ways. The presentation examined how residential architecture can reconsider the relationship between private space, shared thresholds, and the collective spaces that structure everyday life.

At INNOCONSTRUCT 2026, Quadratum presented advanced digitalization solutions for the inspection, documentation and technical assessment of the streets, sidewalks, parks, public buildings, bridges, industrial areas, etc.

The workflow integrates 3D capture through robot, drone and mobile scanner technologies with AI-based defect detection and risk classification. The output is a structured technical package: actionable report, mapping, prioritization and estimates, together with the 3D model and raw data.
