Hi! We are hiring SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER & SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Duties:

- Review the design engineering documentation and provide your technical feedback on it as necessary
- Meet and coordinate with the assigned design firms the production and/or modification of their engineering documentation and assure that the design packages are in line with the client and end-user requirements
- Act as the supervising senior site consultant engineer; performing the review and providing your feedback on the contractors technical submittals, such as but not limited to, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, calculations, O & M Manuals and reports
- Review the technical queries submitted by the contractors and coordinate the feedback with the related design consultants
- Attend the testing and commission of related systems and provide your approval on it
- Attend authorities official site inspections
- Perform projects close out activities
- Prepare monthly progress reports and review contractors monthly interim reports and provide your feedback on it
- Represent the supervision consultant at the official meetings with the projects stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 13 years post-graduate experience, at least 5 years in a senior position for an engineering consultancy firm preferably at large scale projects sites
- Residence of Qatar and must be registered with MME as a grade A engineer
- Well versed with the applicable engineering standards and statutory authorities regulations

Hi! We are now hiring SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

1) Key Responsibilities:

A) Pre-Contract:
•Feasibility studies (cost per key, cost per sqm etc.)
•Preliminary Cost advice
•Cost planning and estimating (BCIS and NRM1)
•Preparation of budget and negotiations
•Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, risk management
•Bills of Quantities production (NRM 2, SMM7, POMI and CESSM3)
•Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiations and recommendations
•Contract drafting (FIDIC)
•Budget Cost Control
•Rate Analysis and Evaluate the unit rates for new work items

B) Post Contract:
•Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs
•Interim valuations and payment certificates
•Variations analysis, recommendations and management
•Risk and value management and cost control functions
•Costs analysis project work
•Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks
•Preparation of progress/ cost reports
•Reporting to higher management on all commercial issues
•Attendance and representation at commercial meetings
•Preparation of Project Measurement System
•Preparation of contractual letters
•Analyzing of contractor’s claims
•Visit building sites to monitor progress
•Proposing and Analyzing of Value engineering proposals
•Participate in the preparation of Final Accounts with all supporting documentation

2) Qualifications:

•Experience in delivery of High-Rise projects in both pre and post contract is a must
•MRICS APC status as minimum for all levels. This is non-negotiable
•Degree in Civil Engineering (Full time) , or related field and Fifteen (15) years post graduate demonstrable experience in Quantity Surveying
•Knowledge in the use of QS software CostX or similar is required
•Experience in BIM (Revit Architecture) and CAD is highly required
•Must be residence of Qatar
•UPDA Certified or can apply for UPDA exam
•Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•Able to work on own or managing a team for project deliverable as project dictates
•Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills
