Today we take you inside one of our projects, and every journey begins the same way: with a door.
For this majlis in Doha, the entrance was designed as a monumental moment of transition — from the outside world to an intimate, welcoming space.
Everything else is intentionally kept simple, so the entrance becomes the first and only focal point.
A bold architectural gesture that sets the tone, defines the space, and honors tradition through contemporary design.
Because a door is never just a door; it’s the first gesture of architecture that tells the whole story.

The Majlis is a fundamental space in Gulf culture: a place for gathering, dialogue, and hospitality, where guests are welcomed and community bonds are strengthened. Historically, it represents openness, respect, and social connection.
In this project, we reinterpret the Majlis through a contemporary architectural language—balancing cultural heritage with modern spatial qualities, materiality, and light.
