Architecture begins before the front door.

Here, the approach becomes part of the house: a curved path, deep overhangs and planted edges gradually lead towards a sheltered entrance.

The low horizontal volumes are interrupted by the central roof and chimney, while dark render, pale surfaces and timber give the house a restrained material character.

Landscape and architecture were conceived together, allowing the building to feel settled rather than simply placed on the site.

A house shaped around different ways of living.

The project unfolds through a sequence of distinct volumes, interior atmospheres and outdoor spaces, creating different places for retreat, gathering and everyday life.

A house shaped by the slope.

Rather than imposing itself on the site, this project settles into the terrain, using granite retaining walls to organise the different levels and anchor the architecture naturally within the landscape.

A restrained combination of off-white surfaces, dark volumes, timber and local stone creates a contemporary identity while maintaining a strong connection to the character of Alto Minho.

From the entrance to the valley-facing façade, the entire composition is defined by the relationship between architecture, topography and view.

Architecture for collective use.

Developed as a venue for weddings, corporate gatherings and other shared occasions, the project combines generous interior spaces with exterior areas that extend naturally into the surrounding landscape.

The architecture was conceived as part of the experience: arrival, circulation, occupation, light and the transition between inside and outside.
