We painted this villa in Carvoeiro.

There were a lot of cracks and water damage. We didn’t know the extent until we pressure washed the whole house. The damage was worse that we thought. It only takes a hotline crack to allow water ingress.

So we repaired the cracks and re rendered large areas of the house. Then a full cost of CIN primer, a coat of texturado to blend in the repairs with the existing texture.

Finally two coats of CIN Novaqua acrylic paint.

We did this job while the customers were back home in Holland and sent video updates every day so they could see the progress.

On their return they thanked us for an amazing job.

We painted this amazing villa in Carvoeiro in preparation for a wedding.
Our process for most villas follows the same principles.
Power wash to remove any loose particles, dirt, salts and contaminants
Rake out and fill any cracks
Apply one coat of CIN primer, either synthetic or acrylic, depending on the surface. This ensures proper sealing and the ensure a sound and stable surface for subsequent coats.
To avoid unpleasant lines or distortions, we use a texturado to blend in any repairs to the existing texture.
Two coats of CIN Novaqua acrylic paint. This provides excellent resistance to UV, moisture and ensures a clean, uniform, long lasting finish.
Finally , a good clean up of the workspace.

Villa painting specialists.

We were tasked by our clients to repaint this villa in Carvoeiro. It’s an Airbnb, so time was of the essence. To provide a great finish along with a long lasting solution. To achieve my clients objectives, we followed this procedure…
1. High power pressure washer to thoroughly clean surfaces and remove any loose particles
2. Dig out and fill any cracks or blown render.
3. Mesh where necessary and fill all areas needing repair from water damage.
4. Apply one coat of CIN synthetic primer. THIS IS KEY. Using a high quality primer provides a solid long lasting base before painting.
5. Most Algarve houses exteriors have textured or stippled surfaces, so filling creates a smooth area on a textured surface. In this case we apply a texturado paint using a specific roller to blend in with the existing texture, effectively hiding the repairs.
6. The final stage is two coats of CIN Novaqua to provide a great looking long lasting solution.

It’s all about the prep. It’s a waste of time using a good quality paint if the preparation is not high quality.

My clients were based in UK, so daily video updates were provided.

My client wanted a fresh coat of paint before putting this house in Guia up for sale. There were also a number of cracks that needed filling, then blended in with texturado.
