Designed by Sequeira Dias arquitetos within Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico in Ponta Delgada, this spa draws on the hotel’s maritime identity and the atmosphere of mid-century ocean-liner interiors. Curved walnut joinery, travertine, Verde Alpi marble, brass details and textured glass connect reception, treatment, relaxation and fitness spaces. The dark indoor pool becomes a reflective architectural plane. The project translates the hotel’s existing narrative into a sequence of interiors shaped by material continuity, filtered daylight and privacy.
