There are moments when designing means to stop.

Architecture is shaped by observation as much as by action.

Sometimes, stepping away from the drawing board is what allows new ideas to emerge, new perspectives to take shape, and creativity to find its rhythm again.

From August 10 to 21, our studio will be taking a short summer break.

We'll be back on August 24, refreshed and ready to continue designing places that are rooted in their context and made to stand the test of time.

This large-scale residence in Carvalhal is now entering in the final stages of construction. A bespoke project featuring a V4 main house, swimming pool, landscaped gardens, terraces, a private SPA, and four independent guest suites.

Usually, this story is recorded in drawings, photographs, or memories. But in this case, the clients challenged us to create something different.

A unique piece. A painting that follows the evolution of the work and absorbs its marks throughout the process: the powders, paints, cements, and other materials, and the gestures that give shape to the project.

Instead of representing the architecture, this piece will become part of it.

An authentic record of the journey between the idea and the built reality.

This project, now approaching completion in Alcácer do Sal, reflects exactly that approach.
