Still on the occasion of the Villas&Golfe 25th anniversary I thought it would be a nice way of celebrating this significant milestone also with an exclusive get together of close friends on an informal lunch in the Estoril Vintage Hotel , which was a remarkable refurbishment project of a beautiful palace, done by Graça Viterbo. A VERY SPECIAL DAY - OCTOBER 1st .
There are no coincidences but just facts. On the occasion of VILLAS&GOLFE magazine 25th anniversary, JAIME COUTINHO starts his career in the Algarve Golden Triangle, joining VALE DO LOBO Resort just on OCTOBER 1st / 1978, on a beautiful sunny blue sky - upon being interviewed by Mr Sander van Gelder.
On the V&G 25th anniversary, JCA celebrates the 48th anniversary. Since then, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, mainly, have played the most important role in Jaime’s career where he and his Team could shape the identity of those two luxury resorts, eventually his main legacy within the Golden Triangle. Witnessing this fact are the many statements within the magazine, honouring Jaime with their kind words, from which we highlight, as a start, Mr Sean Moriarty and Mr Marc van Gelder. Others will follow.

VILLAS & GOLFE - the 25th Anniversary edition - dedicates this magazine to its legacy of 25 years highlighting the best of the Portuguese lifestyle patrimony within its wide universe of culture, history, politics, sports, gastronomy, enology and, amongst others, also architecture.
Paulo Martins, founder and CEO of this prestigious high end magazine, took the opportunity to launch also his new dream - the Vidago Villa winery , where he hosted the many invited guests, amongst golfers (who played the 25th V&G Cup), entrepreneurs, politicians, artists and, obviously 😊, architects.
Last but not least, Paulo also honoured me with his invitation to include in this very special edition a tribute to the legacy of my carear over more than 40 years shaping the architecture in the so called Algarve Golden Triangle. Thank you so much, Paulo and keep dreaming every day of your life. Long life to VILLAS & GOLFE. Long life to all dreamers!! JCA - DESIGN FOR LIFESTYLES

Last but not least, the cherry on top of the cake.
The Iguaçu water falls , the words largest falls and the wonderful Belmond Hotel, very near the falls. A great experience very recommended to add on the list of the must go places!! Next week , back to work 🤩
