A staircase can do much more than connect one floor to another. It can organise a space, create new perspectives and become a defining architectural element in its own right. From its position and proportions to the way light moves around it, every decision can turn something functional into an integral part of the architecture.

How often do we get the chance to see architecture from this angle? From above, details that often go unnoticed come into view — the relationship between volumes, roofs, open spaces and their surroundings. A perspective that reveals how every part of a project works together.

In residential architecture, windows do more than frame a view. They shape how natural light enters a space, how it changes throughout the day, and how the interior connects with what lies beyond. Their position, scale and proportion become part of the architecture, creating homes that feel open, bright and closely connected to their surroundings.

Commercial spaces do not have to feel conventional. At Mirage Hall, the showroom becomes an architectural experience, where sculptural forms, water, landscape and open spaces reshape the way we move through and experience a commercial environment. Because function can define a space without limiting what its architecture can be.

Designed in close dialogue with its natural setting, this single-family house in Ireland unfolds through low volumes, natural materials and a green roof that extends the landscape into the architecture. A design shaped to become part of its surroundings rather than stand apart from them.

In the heart of the Algarve, our studio is more than a place to work. It’s where conversations begin, ideas evolve, and projects come to life. A space rooted in the region we call home, yet always open to new perspectives, places and possibilities.

If you’re nearby, come and visit us. We’d love to welcome you.

Our urban projects begin with a careful understanding of their surroundings — from urban profiles and volumetrics to circulation flows and the relationship between built and open spaces. Through a holistic approach, we translate these layers into thoughtful design solutions that integrate naturally with the urban fabric, enhance their context, and create meaningful connections with the community.

Architecture, to me, is about creating spaces that feel as meaningful as they are beautiful. I believe every project begins with listening: to the people, the place, and the story behind it. From there, ideas take shape with purpose, sensitivity, and a sense of timelessness.
