In the quiet corners of my home in Hawley, Pennsylvania… inspiration blooms everywhere. 🌺🍃
From the deep reds of the garden to the textures, light, and stillness of nature, these moments continue to shape my creative spirit and artistic vision.

Home has a way of reminding us to slow down, observe, and feel.

Back in PA, organizing my studio to begin work on a new series, The walls of Castillo San Cristóbal in San Juan.

Last year, I was drawn to the colors and textures of these massive walls. This year, I returned to connect more deeply with their tones and everything surrounding these majestic architectural forms.

The memory of those images continues to distort in my mind throughout the process, until the work is finally complete.
That is where memory becomes painting.

— Raul Vega 🎨✨

Every piece I placed here… I felt it.
This is not just a mosaic, it is time, patience, and love turned into art.

The sun and the sea are not separate…
they meet, they speak, they exist together—just like us.

This is not something you just look at…
it’s something you experience.

Disciplina. La realidad de crear en Puerto Rico.
Sin elitismo. Sin máscaras. Con propósito.

Nos vemos hoy.
La cultura se construye en comunidad.
