Let’s shift the focus to one of the most captivating aspects of the Tree House in Constantia: how it transforms under different lighting and weather conditions. Sometimes, it’s not just about showcasing a building - it’s about showing how it feels to experience it, rain or shine, day or night.

On a rainy day, the gentle blur of raindrops on glass, the muted tones of an overcast sky, and the warm glow of interior lights create a cozy contrast. It’s that perfect balance of shelter and nature. At night, the Tree House transforms into something magical. Subtle lighting highlights its shape, making it stand out while still blending harmoniously with its surroundings.

Continuing the story of the Tree House in Constantia, we now turn to its exterior visualization - a process that allowed us to highlight the building’s architectural beauty through carefully selected lighting and composition.

At leskea, we strive to go beyond conventional approaches, exploring uncommon lighting scenarios to reveal the unique character of each project. In this series, the Tree House is presented under different lighting conditions, with each scenario designed to evoke a specific atmosphere and emphasize the building’s relationship with its surroundings.

For us, architectural visualization is about more than just depicting a structure - it’s about telling a story of how it interacts with light, shadow, and the environment across different times of the day.

Continuing the story of the Tree House in Constantia, today we highlight one of its defining features: the spiral staircase that elegantly connects all levels of the building. This staircase isn’t just a functional element - it’s a sculptural feature that that anchors the overall design.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the staircase blends natural materials and modern engineering to create a sense of weightless movement. As light filters through the windows, the staircase casts intricate shadows, enhancing its dynamic presence throughout the day.

For our team at leskea, visualizing this staircase was about more than accurately replicating its form. We aimed to capture its emotional impact, crafting close-ups that emphasize its craftsmanship and wide-angle views that reveal its integration into the design of the Tree House.

We continue to share our work on the Tree House in Constantia, focusing this time on the role of lighting in its interior visualization. These renderings highlight how light transforms the space, creating different moods and atmospheres.

We are proud to revisit and share one of our most cherished projects: the Tree House in Constantia, Cape Town. Originally showcased in 2019, this project continues to capture attention and remains relevant in today’s architectural landscape. Designed by Malan Vorster Architecture Interior Design, we were inspired by their architecture and created a compelling visual narrative to showcase this exceptional building. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing a series of posts that explore the intricate details of this project, starting with a focus on interior visualization.

At leskea, creating realistic and immersive renderings is at the heart of what we do. It requires an expert eye for detail, an in-depth understanding of light and texture, and the ability to convey an atmosphere that transforms a space into an experience. For the Tree House, our objective was to highlight the seamless harmony between contemporary living and the natural environment.
