A little glimpse into the world of Carl Larsson!
I recently visited Sundborn in Dalarna, the beautiful home where Carl Larsson lived with his wife Karin. Walking through their home and surroundings made his paintings of family, love, and everyday Swedish life feel even more alive - his wife Karin is recognized as one of the most important figures in the development of modern Swedish interior design.

We wanted this bathroom to feel bold without shouting.
The deep charcoal walls create a calm backdrop, while the custom made mirror and vanity in Olive Gold bring just enough confidence to the space. The marble was chosen for its movement and texture—it softens the clean lines and gives the room a quiet sense of luxury.

Every detail was intentional, from the sculptural mirror and matte black accents to the warm bronze tapware that catches the light throughout the day.

It’s a space that feels contemporary, a little unexpected ( exactly what we like!) and designed to be lived in- not just looked at.

This kitchen was designed for a family who loves being together — cooking, gathering, and enjoying the slower pace of life just outside Warsaw, surrounded by nature. 🤍

Inspired by Scandinavian interiors, I focused on creating a calm, light-filled space with timeless materials and thoughtful details. The warm oak elements bring softness to the off-white cabinetry, while the delicate detailing on the cabinet fronts adds character and craftsmanship without disturbing the clean lines.

I always believe that the most beautiful kitchens are the ones that are truly lived in, and this space was designed exactly for that.

There’s something especially meaningful about working again with clients who return to us with new dreams, new goals, and a new chapter of life. Being invited back into that journey is something we truly value. Reconnecting after years, catching up, and creating together once more always feels both personal and inspiring.

Welcome to this new home in Mokotów, Warsaw.
The apartment is slightly larger than the previous one, with a more generous living area and a different aesthetic direction. Yet the philosophy behind it remains the same — thoughtful design that supports everyday life and responds carefully to the people living in it. A home created to soften the pace of the day.

Soft textures, sculptural forms, and warm natural tones come together to create a quiet balance between functionality and emotion.
Every element was designed with intention — from light filtering gently through layered materials, to open shelving that defines the space without enclosing it, and curved forms that bring softness to the architecture.

A home that feels calm, timeless, and deeply lived in, hope you enjoy 🫶🏼

20 years ago, I founded IDSTUDIO with a belief that design should be thoughtful, timeless, and deeply connected to the people it serves.
What began as a small studio in Warsaw has grown into a journey I could never have imagined.

Coming from Sweden, my roots in Scandinavian design have always guided me — simplicity, balance, and respect for natural materials. Over the years, these values have found a new expression here in Poland, shaped by local craftsmanship, history, and the unique character of each space we work with.

Today, as we celebrate 20 years of IDSTUDIO, I feel immense gratitude. To our clients — thank you for your trust, openness, and for allowing us into your homes and lives. Every project is a collaboration, and every story we’ve been part of has left a lasting mark on me.

To my team — past and present — thank you for your talent, dedication, and passion. Your creativity and commitment are the foundation of everything we do, and it is a privilege to build this studio together.

Over these two decades, we have designed homes, apartments, and spaces across Poland and beyond, always guided by the same idea: to create interiors that are not only beautiful, but meaningful and lasting.

A mirror that doesn’t just reflect a room — it tells a story.

In this space, we played with quiet elegance and a touch of personality. The sculptural mirror frame traces the wall like a continuous line drawing, soft yet bold, guiding the eye across the room. Beneath it, natural stone surrounds the fireplace, grounding the composition with natural texture and calm.

But the real magic? The reflection.
A glimpse of the glass cabinet appears like a secret scene within the scene — wine red wood, delicate panes, and collected pieces that feel both curated and lived in. It’s our favorite kind of design moment: when layers of a room reveal themselves slowly.

We believe interiors should feel composed but never stiff, refined yet playful. A mirror becomes architecture, a cabinet becomes a focal point, and suddenly the room feels twice as deep.

Design, after all, is about perspective. Sometimes all you need is the right reflection.

A study in balance, texture, and quiet luxury.
For this bathroom, we focused on creating a calm, refined space where every element feels intentional. The deep navy floating vanity grounds the room with a bold yet sophisticated presence, while the soft veining of the natural stone countertop introduces organic movement and texture.
A round mirror framed in warm brass echoes the elegant wall sconces, adding softness to the clean architectural lines and creating a subtle dialogue between light, form, and reflection.
The patterned tile floor adds rhythm and visual interest, anchoring the design and gently contrasting the serenity of the surrounding palette.
The result is a bathroom that feels both contemporary and timeless—designed to elevate everyday rituals into moments of calm.

Just outside the pulse of Warsaw, a sanctuary unfolds. Designed by Katja Sadziak and her team IDSTUDIO, this two-story retreat was envisioned as an antidote to city life—a place where a family of five could finally breathe in the quiet.

The interior is a soft, poetic dialogue between French elegance and modern minimalism. Every corner speaks of intentionality: custom-crafted cabinetry by IDSTUDIO meets the heritage of Gemla’s vegetable-tanned leather and the iconic glow of Verpan chandeliers. It is a space where Polish craftsmanship, like Artera lighting, sits comfortably alongside global design legends.

In the kitchen, the architecture dictates the rhythm. Massive windows invite the garden inside, while floor-to-ceiling volumes replace traditional cupboards to create a sense of seamless order. The grand island, with its whisper of edge detailing, serves as the stage for life’s simplest rituals—from the first pour of morning coffee to the chaos of family board games.

„The design first surprised us, then delighted us,” the owners share. Between the spectacular stone portals and the gentle sway of linen curtains, a rare harmony has taken root. It is more than a house; it is a „home” in the truest Parisian sense—timeless, soulful, and serene.
