This is no ordinary table. It's several hundred years of history and the work of several pairs of hands.
You often only see the finished effect of my work... Today I want to show you what is happening behind the scenes of the studios and workshops that put my projects into practice.
The production of a black oak table is a well-thought-out design, but also:
- Several hundred years of natural processes in wood
Intense weeks of work for a whole team of people
The complexity of the machining process: precise cutting of powerful wood blocks, manual grinding, securing the unique wood structure, protecting the wood from buckling, pedestal production, precise installation of the countertop. There are no shortcuts here, but every hour of the craftsman's work brings us closer to the unique final effect.
It's a tribute to natural material and a respect for real craftsmanship. A ready-made table is proof that unique furniture is born of great passion and effort of many people.
