Meet Our Designer — Piotr Duraj ✨

Piotr Duraj is a Designer and Creative Department Director at Konarski & Bzowski, specializing in exhibition stands, spatial exhibitions, and scenography. His creative journey began with a fascination for video games, film, animation, and popular culture—worlds that, from an early age, shaped his sensitivity to imagery, storytelling, atmosphere, and emotion. Over time, these interests evolved into a deliberate career path: first through graphic design studies with a specialization in animation at Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań, followed by a Master’s degree in Advanced Multimedia at WIT Academy in Warsaw. Today, he shares his expertise at the same university as a lecturer in 3D graphics and generative artificial intelligence.
For Piotr, function, context, and storytelling are the foundations of every design. He begins each project by defining its functional layout, treating aesthetics as a tool for giving function a clear, engaging, and memorable form. Rather than adhering to a single visual style, he adapts the design language to the brand, the audience, and the specific nature of each project. He believes that “a good design should remain in people’s memory long after it has disappeared from the space.”
Collaboration plays a central role in his creative process. He believes that successful projects are the result of close cooperation between clients, designers, project managers, production teams, and even people outside the design industry, whose perspectives often provide the most honest insight into how a space will ultimately be experienced. One of his guiding principles is: listen first, then design.
Outside of work, Piotr has happily embraced the role of husband for the past five years and is now preparing for a new and exciting challenge—becoming a father. During the winter, he enjoys skiing, while summer is reserved for sailing. Regular gym sessions are his way of maintaining a healthy balance between his passion for staying active and an even greater passion for good food.

at 2026 — where contemporary design meets the city’s architectural heritage.
Inspired by the flow of the Warta River, the iconic Round Building (“Okrąglak”), and the legacy of architect Jerzy Gurawski, this exhibition stand celebrates Poznań’s identity through organic forms, refined materials, and thoughtful details.
Designed to encourage conversations and connections, the stand reflects the city’s dynamic growth while paying tribute to its history.

The new edition of the Żywiec Brewery Museum has been attracting attention and receiving very positive feedback from the very first days. We are honored to have been part of a project that brings together history, architecture, and a modern approach to exhibition design.
Together with Przemysław Ziarko, , we developed the concept and visualizations for selected museum spaces.
Our work included defining the narrative direction and spatial solutions. What is especially important to us is that many elements of our concept were carried through into the final implementation and can now be seen in the newly opened museum.
We are aware that our bold ideas posed significant ex*****on challenges. This makes us appreciate even more the work of the Museum Team and the Contractors, who delivered this demanding project on schedule and within budget.
This is a project rooted in respect for the site’s history, yet told through a contemporary language—engaging, cohesive, and designed not only to be viewed, but to be experienced.
📍We invite you to visit the Żywiec Brewery Museum at Browarna 88 in Żywiec.

Modernity rooted in history 🟫
The stand designed for the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency for MIPIM 2026 is a spatial interpretation of the city’s identity – expressed through brick-inspired tones, warm browns, and refined materials.
A strong, geometric structure is contrasted with soft, curved lighting forms inspired by the architecture of Wrocław Główny Railway Station. This subtle gesture bridges past and present, creating a cohesive narrative throughout the space.
The interplay of steel and warm, patinated surfaces reflects Wrocław’s industrial roots, while diffused lighting enhances the atmosphere of elegance and openness – inviting dialogue, meetings, and connection.
We design spaces that tell stories – and become places where they continue.
