Przełomy Dialogue Center by KWK Promes creates an urban design hybrid, combining the traditions of a quarter and a square. The museum is hidden underground as a background architecture, while the concrete floor rises into artificial hills and cuboidal blocks. The open public space encourages social interactions, transforming a place of historical memory into a contemporary urban interior.

By the way House by KWK Promes takes its form from the road that had to reach the middle of the plot. The architects lifted “the way” and wrapped it around the residence, allowing it to shape the floors, walls and ceilings. It then returns to the garden level, leading through the steep hill to the river without cutting out any trees. The road becomes the main motif of the project.

Architecture | Konieczny Ark | KWK PROMES

Konieczny Ark by KWK Promes is designed as a framework that crops the mountain view. The one-storey house is fully open to the landscape, while its form is “twisted” so it touches the ground at one corner and hangs over the edge of the hill. Supported on three independent walls, the residence works as a bridge, creating a symbiosis with nature and a feeling of floating above the slope.
