Projekt zlokalizowany we Wrocławiu to współczesna interpretacja stylu retro, w której klimat minionych dekad spotyka się z nowoczesnym komfortem i odważnym podejściem do formy. Sypialnia łączy przytulność prywatnej biblioteki z charakterem butikowego hotelu – miejsce, w którym książki, sztuka i mocne akcenty dekoracyjne tworzą osobistą historię mieszkańców. Łazienka kontynuuje tę narrację poprzez połączenie szlachetnych materiałów, ciemnego drewna i wyrazistej kamiennej okładziny, tworząc przestrzeń przypominającą małe domowe spa z nutą artystycznej ekstrawagancji.

Located in Wrocław, this project is a contemporary interpretation of retro style, where the atmosphere of past decades meets modern comfort and a bold approach to form. The interior draws inspiration from the aesthetics of the 1960s and 1970s, but instead of faithfully recreating the past, it plays with it and incorporates its best elements into a fresh, contemporary setting. Deep, atmospheric colours dominate the space — burgundy, chocolate browns, black, and natural wood — creating an elegant, slightly cinematic mood. Distinctive patterns such as checkerboard motifs, terrazzo, and decorative mosaics add an individual rhythm to the interior, making it far from the category of “safe white walls and three beige cushions.” Retro appears here through carefully chosen details: rounded forms, geometric patterns, stylised lighting, and furniture inspired by modernism. However, everything has been balanced with contemporary simplicity and functionality. The bedroom combines the cosiness of a private library with the character of a boutique hotel — a place where books, art, and bold decorative accents create a personal story of its inhabitants. The bathroom continues this narrative through the combination of refined materials, dark wood, and expressive stone finishes, creating a space reminiscent of a small private spa with a touch of artistic extravagance. The most distinctive element of the project is the dialogue between nostalgia and modernity — the interior feels as if the elegance of a grandmother’s sideboard, the atmosphere of a great film, and a contemporary apartment in Wrocław have come together in one space. This is retro that does not pretend to be a museum — it invites you to live, relax, and embrace it with a slight sense of humour. Because who said that an interior cannot be elegant, a little mysterious, and still have its own personality and wit?
