JOB DESCRIPTION:
ο Plan, organize, and direct the activities of a construction project, under the direction of a Project Manager.
ο Prepare project schedules including the SOV using AIA documentation.
ο Prepare contracts and negotiate changes to contracts with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
ο Prepare and submit the submittals for approval to the Architect.
ο Prepare progress reports for clients.
ο Manage the purchase of building materials.
ο Hire and supervise subcontractors.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
ο Experience of 2 years in the American Construction Industry.
ο Have good project administration and management skills.
ο Have in-depth knowledge of new systems and materials, and building codes and regulations.
ο Use computer programs specific to the construction industry, such as scheduling and estimating software.
ο Have good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
ο Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email software.
ο Speak, write and read English.
