Four Folds

Four Folds Architecture is like a Creation, an intriguing ability evolving from our originalities and perspectives.

By formulating our own unique creations, we may endeavor to create a parallel between our imagination and the world in which we live.

PROCESS DRAWINGS
Design is never just a final image it’s a process of discovery.

These are the fragments of that journey experiential sections, plan explorations, and blow-ups that help reveal how a space actually behaves. For me, architecture begins in sketches a place where ideas are free to evolve, fail, and transform.

I explore every project through sections first, understanding the dynamics of space, movement, light, and human experience before anything else. Because when you cut through a space, you truly begin to understand it.

SITE DOCUMENTATION SKETCHES
THOKAR NIAZ BAIG, Lahore Pakistan

10/03/2026

As part of a collaborative group project, our group conducted and presented a comprehensive site analysis of Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, to architecture students from Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
The study examined the site through multiple analytical lenses, including urban morphology, mobility networks, environmental responses, land-use patterns, and socio-spatial relationships that define this significant urban threshold of Lahore.

Through collective work, documentation, and critical discussion, the project emphasized the role of site analysis as a foundational process in architectural thinking bridging contextual research with informed design strategies.
This experience reflects the value of interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative learning in shaping responsive and context-driven architectural practice.

From above, the city begins to speak.

Lahore, Thokar Niaz Baig reveals itself not as chaos, but as composition a living diagram of movement, memory, and negotiation. Roads carve paths that choreograph daily rituals, junctions emerge as intense nodes, where velocity slows and urban life thickens. Districts unfold in layers residential fabrics, industrial grounds, informal settlements each inscribing its own rhythm onto the metropolitan canvas.

Seen through the lens of Kevin Lynch’s Image of the City, legibility becomes an architectural act. The highways define powerful edges, separating yet connecting urban realities. Commercial corridors pulse like arteries, while encroachments quietly redraw boundaries, reminding us that cities are never finished drawings only evolving drafts.

From this altitude, planning becomes storytelling. Patterns replace parcels, flows replace forms, and the city reads like a collective memory mapped in space.

As architects, we do not only design buildings, we learn to read the city’s image its structure, its contradictions, its poetry written between lines of asphalt and fragments of habitation.

Designed with clean lines and balanced geometry, the STUDIO DESK , featuring a black charcoal tabletop that reveals the natural grain beneath like a subtle landscape, resting on a metallic gray steel frame that provides both strength and visual lightness. Every edge, junction, and proportion is considered to create harmony between structure and workspace, echoing the philosophy that furniture should feel lived with rather than merely placed. Designed by FOURFOLDS and crafted by .co , carrying forward woodworking heritage since 1975, this desk is a timeless piece made for creativity, focus, and everyday work.
