Day 62 Today: Sewerage Line Tips - Cleanout + Air Vent Importance - Why 2 Must? 2 Mistakes = 50K Loss After 1 Year - Full Process + Cost + Location

What is Sewerage Line? Why Cleanout + Vent Must?

- Sewerage line = WC + Bathroom + Kitchen waste goes to septic tank / main line
- Every house 5 Marla, 7 Marla, 10 Marla has 50-100 ft sewerage line
- 2 things must in line: Cleanout + Air Vent - Most masons skip to save 5K = After 1 year blockage + smell = 50K loss to fix

Cleanout - What? Why Must? Location?

- Cleanout = Opening in sewerage line with cap - To clear blockage with rod / machine
- Why must? After 1 year, waste + hair + soap = Blockage - Without cleanout, no opening to clear = Dig floor + Break tiles = 30K extra
- Location: Har 30 ft pe 1 cleanout + Every bend + Near septic tank - Cost 2K per cleanout (pipe + cap)
- In 5 Marla house 70 ft line = 2-3 cleanouts = 4K-6K

Bathroom Waterproofing Part 3 - Ponding Test - 7 Days Water Fill - Leak Check - Proof - SAVE THIS TEST

Waterproofing Part 3 - Ponding Test - After Part 2 Second Coat - How to check leakage before tiles? 7 Days Water Stock Test - Full Process + Cost

What is Ponding Test? Why 7 Days?

- After 2 coats waterproofing membrane + corner strips + protection screed, we need to check leak before tiles
- If leak after tiles, tiles remove = 35K extra loss = Ponding test before tiles = Save 35K
- 7 days water stock = Water stays, if leak, water level drops + downstairs ceiling leak visible

Ponding Test Process - Step by Step - 7 Days:

Day 1: Water Fill

- Bathroom floor filled with water - 2 inch depth - All drain closed with tape + plug
- Water level marked with marker + tape on wall - 2 inch mark
- Photos taken - Level + Date

Day 1-7: Daily Check - 7 Days

- Daily check water level - If level drops 0.5 inch+ = Leak = Waterproofing fail = Re-do
- Check downstairs ceiling - If wet spot / drip = Leak = Fail
- In this bathroom: Day 1 level 2 inch, Day 7 level 2 inch (no drop) + Downstairs dry = Pass βœ…

Settlement Treatment Start - Underpinning - Micro Piles 35 ft - Cost 8 Lakh - 15 Days - Part 3/5 - Day 59/100 - SAVE THIS SOLUTION

Part 1: Crack show - Ghar baith gaya - 1 inch crack - Floor down - 3500+ views
Part 2: Why pile failed? Soil test skip = 30K saving = 20 Lakh loss - Soil report 35 ft hard soil, pile 20 ft fail

Part 3 Today: Treatment Start - How to fix failed pile foundation? Underpinning - Full process + cost + timeline

What is Underpinning?

- Old failed pile 20 ft still there, but not on hard rock = Settlement
- New micro piles 35 ft to hard rock = New support = Lift house = Stabilize
- Old + New piles both work = House safe

Treatment Process - 15 Days - Step by Step:

Day 1-2: Excavation around foundation - Expose old piles - Check settlement 1 inch

Day 3-7: Micro Piling - New piles 35 ft deep to hard rock

- Drill 8 inch dia holes around old pile - 1 ft away
- Depth 35 ft to hard rock (as per soil report)
- Steel cage 4 bars 16mm + ring 8mm
- Concrete M25 - 20 piles around house
- Cost per pile: Drilling 10K + Steel 12K + Concrete 8K + Labor 5K = 35K per pile x 20 piles = 7 Lakh

Day 8-10: Jacking - Lift house 1 inch

- Hydraulic jacks 50 ton capacity - 10 jacks around foundation
- Lift house slowly 1 inch in 2 days - 0.5 inch per day - Monitor crack
- Crack closes 0.5 inch as house lifts

Day 11-13: Connection - Old foundation + New piles connected

- Beam connecting old pile cap + new micro piles - Steel + Concrete
- Load transfer old to new

Pile Foundation Fail Kyun Hua? Soil Test Skip

Part 1 me apne crack dekha - 10 Marla house, 2 years old, floor down 1 inch, crack 1 inch, doors jam - Ghar baith gaya

Part 2: Why pile failed? Reason + Soil report + Pile depth mistake - Full detail

Reason 1: Soil Test Not Done - Biggest Mistake

- Owner saved 30,000 PKR soil test fee - Thought "Soil test kya karna, pile kar do"
- Contractor said "Pile 20 ft kafi hai, area me sab 20 ft karte hain"
- No soil report = No one knew hard soil depth

Soil Report (if done) would show:

- 0-10 ft: Soft clay
- 10-25 ft: Medium soft soil
- 25-35 ft: Very soft soil (compressible)
- 35 ft: Hard rock / Hard soil (bearing capacity 15 ton)
- Water table: 15 ft

Hard soil at 35 ft = Pile must go 35 ft to rest on hard rock

Reason 2: Pile Depth Mistake - 20 ft vs 35 ft

- Contractor did pile 20 ft deep - Pile tip in very soft soil (25-35 ft zone), not on hard rock at 35 ft
- Pile hanging in soft soil, not resting on rock = Pile like nail in butter, not in wood
- After 2 years, building load + soft soil compression = Pile sank 1 inch = House settlement = Crack 1 inch

Correct Pile Depth:

- Must be 35 ft to hard rock = Pile rests on rock = No settlement
- Cost extra: 20 ft pile = 25,000 PKR per pile, 35 ft pile = 35,000 per pile = Extra 10,000 per pile x 20 piles = 2 Lakh extra
- Saving 2 Lakh pile depth + 30K soil test = 2.3 Lakh saving = Now 20 Lakh loss

House Settlement - Pile Foundation Failed - Every Wall Have Cracks - Loss - Part 1

This house in Rawalpindi - 10 Marla - 2 years old - Pile foundation - Now settlement - Floor down 1 inch -

Owner called us: "Ghar baith gaya - Kya karen?"

We checked: Pile foundation failed - Why?

Reason (Part 2 tomorrow 8:30 PM full detail):

- Soil test not done before pile - Owner saved 30,000 PKR soil test fee
- Contractor did pile without soil report - Pile depth 20 ft, but hard soil at 35 ft - Pile hanging in soft soil, not resting on hard rock
- After 2 years, soft soil compressed - Pile sank - House settlement - Crack 1 inch

Concrete Good Finished Surface After Deshuttering - Over Practice or Correct Practice?

People say: "ap over practice karta hai - Itna vi****or kyun? Itna curing kyun? Itna time kyun?"

After deshuttering they say: "Ab samajh aaya - Ye over practice nahi, correct practice hai"

What you see in video:

After deshuttering - Column / Beam / Slab surface:

βœ… Smooth finished surface - No honeycomb - No holes
βœ… No rough - Direct paint ready after light putty
βœ… No plaster needed on columns/beams = 5 Lakh saving in 5 Marla house

What others get after deshuttering:

❌ Honeycomb - Big holes - Steel visible = Strength zero = 2 Lakh repair
❌ Rough surface - 2 inch plaster needed to hide mistakes = 3 Lakh extra plaster
❌ Leak lines - Water lines after deshuttering = Wrong water ratio = Crack after 1 year

Waterproofing Part 2/3 - Membrane Coat - 100% Waterproof Layer - Day 55/100

Part 1 Base Coat Done (58.5K views) - Now Part 2 Most Important - Membrane Coat - Without this, Part 1 alone fails after 1 year.

What is Membrane Coat?

Liquid waterproof membrane - Like rubber paint - After dry becomes rubber sheet - Water cannot cross even 1 drop.

Why Part 2 is 100% important?

Without Membrane:

❌ Part 1 Base Coat alone: Seals pores but small cracks after 6 months = Water enters
❌ After 8 months: Water reaches slab = Seepage in lower floor bedroom = 30K paint loss
❌ After 12 months: Tile joints leak = Black fungus + Bad smell + Family sick
❌ After 18 months: Break all tiles + Re-do all 3 layers = 2 Lakh loss for saving 1300

With Membrane Part 2:

βœ… 100% waterproof - Rubber sheet - Water zero
βœ… Elongation 300% - Small building movement? Membrane stretches, no crack
βœ… 10 year guarantee - Company guarantee + Our guarantee
βœ… Cost only 1300 PKR for 5x6 washroom

How We Apply Membrane at Novenza (Day 55/100):

Step 1: Clean Base Coat (Part 1) - No dust
Step 2: First coat membrane with brush - Horizontal - 0.75mm
Step 3: Wait 2 hour dry
Step 4: Second coat vertical - 0.75mm - Total 1.5mm rubber sheet
Step 5: 4 hour dry - Touch test - No sticky = Done

Mistakes people do:

❌ 1 coat only = 0.75mm = Thin = Water enters after 1 year
❌ Thick 1 coat = Not dry inside = Peels
❌ No overlap on walls: Membrane must go 6 inch up on walls - 90% miss this - Water enters from corner
