Everyone with Midjourney suddenly thinks they are an architect.

A few prompts, some cinematic lighting, exposed concrete, reflective pools, and now apparently society believes architecture is just image production.

It isn’t.

AI does not understand climate, structure, circulation, sociology, economics, or human behavior. It reconstructs patterns from existing data and produces visually convincing simulations. The problem is not that AI is “bad.” The problem is that people mistake visual plausibility for intelligence.

Architecture is not a JPEG.Architecture is consequence.

A building negotiates gravity, heat, acoustics, maintenance, labor, rituals, and human psychology. A render cannot solve those problems. Training can.
