Great meeting today with Sir Gary, our client, as the Costa Mabini Development officially moves forward into the construction phase.

The project is envisioned as a carefully planned hillside development that works with the natural terrain of Mabini, creating a layered community that maximizes views of the water while preserving the site's greenery and landscape. The master plan focuses on site integration, accessibility, and a cohesive architectural character that blends with the coastal environment.

Mediterranean-inspired design with modern ex*****on 🏠

The kitchen, dining, and living areas are planned as one open space, highlighted by soft lighting, natural wood tones, and well-placed false beams that add depth and structure.

The staircase becomes a strong design feature, combining warm wood steps with black accent spindles adding a modern touch while keeping the space open and light. Bedrooms feature clean wall lines, warm wood accents, and large openings that allow good natural light and ventilation.

The bathrooms keep things simple and modern, finished with large-format tiles, glass shower enclosures, and clean fixtures that make the space feel bright and uncluttered.

VALENZUELA RESIDENCE - Handover of construction documents

When flood control lags behind, design steps up — literally. 😅 This home is elevated 3 m above street level to stay high and dry during heavy rains. The elevated platform also creates space for layered landscaping and terraced gardens that add beauty and resilience to the site.
