D.M. Consunji, Inc. (DMCI), one of the countryโs leading construction companies and proudly recognized as the โBuilders of Landmarks,โ is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and results-driven QAQC Engineer to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality in our concrete batching plant and construction operations.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for implementing and monitoring Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for concrete production and construction activities. Ensures that raw materials, concrete products, processes, testing activities, and documentation comply with approved specifications, project requirements, and applicable quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and ensure the quality of concrete production at the batching plant.Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, including cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.
Monitor batching, mixing, and concrete production processes to ensure compliance with approved mix designs.
Conduct and monitor concrete quality tests, including slump, temperature, sampling, and compressive strength testing.
Review and verify concrete mix designs, material test results, and laboratory reports.
Coordinate with the Batching Plant, Laboratory, Project, and Construction teams on quality requirements and concerns.
Ensure proper sampling, testing, identification, and documentation of concrete materials and products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Bachelorโs Degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
With at least 3โ5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, batching plant, ready-mix concrete, precast, or related operations.
Experience in concrete quality control, material testing, and batching plant operations is highly preferred.
Knowledgeable in concrete testing, mix design, material inspection, and quality documentation.
Strong analytical, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to work on a project/site-based assignment.
