The Social Security System (SSS) on Friday announced plans to roll out an Energy Sustainability Loan Program that will allow qualified members to avail of financing to install residential solar panel systems that they can pay for up to seven years.

According to SSS, it targets to support at least 100,000 homes by 2028 through the program amid the rising electricity costs and the government’s push for long-term energy sustainability.

The agency has yet to release specific details for the program, but said the program will be made available for members with a Mandatory Provident Fund account.

🚧 Introducing Our Industrial Test Fit Simulator 🚧

At G.E.E.K. Studio Architects, we’re developing a smarter way to visualize and maximize industrial land potential across global logistics markets. Architects can’t be replaced by Ai. Because we are the ones programming and Ai is the tool translating it into codes and numbers. If you work alongside it, you will never be replaced by it.

In this Design Simulator V.1 we built, any site can be easily checked if feasible to maximize its potential. Imagine being given 20 sites by a realtor, asking you to check which one can generate the Best Rental Income Annually. There’s no way to check it fast but plan carefully one by one which could take 3 days per site depending on your designer’s experience and capabilities. But now that It’s possible using the tools we had. This is basic coding for some but already a game changer for us Architects. It might not be the final output yet (you still have to do your planning, BIM & Renderin afterwards), but it sets you the right foot which Option and Site gives the best Feasibility.

Using site coordinates and essential warehouse planning parameters, our new Test Fit Simulator helps architects, developers, and industrial planners quickly generate optimized big-box layouts for future logistics and industrial developments.
