Do you have a narrow planting area? Read this šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

Narrow planting space and shaded area usually come in pairs. When that happens, we donā€™t sacrifice in greenery and lushness, we select the plants that will thrive in that environment and will allow free flow without plants getting in the way.

These are the plants we used in this project:
- Seifritzii Palm (or Bamboo Palm) as wall hedge and filler. This palm only grows up to 2-3 mts. And most importantly, stays vertical, without leaning torwards the pathways
-
- Kalachuchi (Plumeria). This tree adds volume to the space and breaks the monotony of the Seifritzii Palm
- Malapapaya trees. Add extra height for privacy to the Seifritzii hedge.
- Medium height plants: Spathyphillum ā€˜Sensationā€™, Monstera, Pholodendron Gigantea and Birdnest Fern
- Low plants: Boston Fern, Calathea zebrina, Bromeliads

āŒOne commonly used plant that I would never use for narrow spaces is Calathea To***co. This plant will lean over the walkway in reach for light, making the space narrow and blockingthe limited light for the rest of the plants.
