Watching the sunset drop across the horizon reminds us why we design with clear intentions. For the final chapter of our lakeside retreat, we are drawing closer to the subtle details that allow this sanctuary to breathe.
The journey elevates to the roof deck events lounge, where intricate concrete breeze blocks frame a sweeping balcony overlooking the lake sunset. We utilized fully operable louvered wood doors here, inviting the evening breeze to glide through the open volume and fill the space with natural movement.
Descending toward the water, the architectural language remains fluid. A prominent signature arch marks the main entry point facing the infinity pool, perfectly mirroring the private balcony enclosures crafted from matching concrete breeze blocks. Nearby, a humble wood pavilion sits nestled within the vegetable garden, offering quiet benches designed for unhurried afternoons spent watching the water.
Along the facade, the hard edges of the architecture slowly soften over time. Vibrant local vines and crawling flowers climb gently across the stone steps and structural columns, illustrating a beautiful harmony between raw form and living nature. It is a sanctuary shaped to be felt.
