Lord God, Almighty Father,
We come to You in this moment of deep fear, uncertainty, and devastation. As the raging waters rise and the fierce winds and heavy habagat rains sweep across our lands, our hearts are heavy with distress. You see our fear, You hear our cries, and You know the weight of the losses we face today.
We ask for Your divine protection over every family, every child, every elder, and every home stranded in the path of this flood. Stretch forth Your hand to calm the rains and stay in the rising waters.
Grant wisdom, safety, and swift courage to our first responders, rescue teams, and neighbors working tirelessly in the dark to bring people to safety.
Lord, bring peace to anxious minds and comfort to those who have lost their homes, livelihoods, or loved ones. When everything around us feels swept away, remind us that You remain our unshakable rock and steady refuge.
In the midst of the storm, ignite within our communities the spirit of compassion, kindness, and unity. Help us to hold onto hope, to look out for one another, and to rebuild what was lost when the sun shines once again.
We lay our lives, our families, and our futures in Your loving hands, trusting in
Your protection through the storm.
