Whenever I crave something sweet or feel like eating noodles, I just order to my go-to keto restaurant Ketosaurus Quezon City. 😋💗 I get to enjoy what I’m craving without the guilt—and best of all, I can still stay on track without sending my blood sugar on a roller coaster. 🥰✨

🫐 High-Protein Blueberry Overnight Oats

Meal-prep made easy! 💙 I made this overnight blueberry oats as a simple, filling breakfast that fits my calorie-deficit goals while being mindful of blood sugar.

🥣 Ingredients — 2 servings
• 80 g rolled oats
• 200 ml Healthy Cow semi-skimmed milk
• 100 g Chobani Greek Yogurt Natural Light
• 20 g chia seeds
• 108 g frozen Dali blueberries
• 2 sticks Equal

📊 Whole batch: ~615 kcal
Per serving: ~308 kcal

Approx. macros per serving:
🥚 Protein: ~15 g
🍚 Carbs: ~46 g
🥑 Fat: ~8–9 g
🌱 Fiber: ~8.6 g

Why I love it: The oats, chia seeds, and blueberries provide fiber, while Greek yogurt and milk add protein. The combination can help make the meal more filling, which is helpful when you’re trying to stay within a calorie deficit. The fiber and pairing of carbohydrates with protein and fat may also help support a steadier blood-sugar response compared with a sugary breakfast.

✨ No added sugar, naturally sweetened with blueberries and Equal, and portioned into two servings—simple, filling, and easy to meal prep!

Macros and calories are approximate and can vary depending on the exact product labels. For diabetes, individual blood-sugar responses can differ, so I still monitor my glucose after meals.

What I Eat in a Week 🥗✨

I’ve been a little too busy lately to upload my food every single day—between running my business and taking care of my baby, my days can get pretty hectic. 😅👶🏻

But here’s a little “what I eat in a week” recap! ❤️

I took a break from my calorie deficit while we were on vacation, but I still tried to be mindful of my portions. I didn’t restrict myself completely—I simply enjoyed what I wanted in smaller portions and practiced balance. Portion control can be a practical way to manage calorie intake without giving up the foods you enjoy.

And now… 60 kg ➡️ 57 kg! 🥹✨

Slow progress is still progress. I’m learning that consistency doesn’t mean being perfect—it means getting back on track and making better choices whenever I can. 💪🏻🌱

Back on track. 🤍✨

After a long vacation and everything we went through with my son’s hospitalization, I’m slowly finding my routine again. Today, I only had 2 meals with a total of 814 calories. 🥗🍽️

I also forgot to check my blood sugar at lunchtime today 😅—mom life got a little busy!

Not aiming for perfection, just getting back to consistency, mindful eating, and taking care of myself one day at a time. 💪🏻❤️

Day 1 of getting back on track. We start again. ✨

Making my own strawberry jam
no added sugar, no honey, just strawberries, chia seeds, stevia, and a little calamansi! ❤️

I used 250 g of frozen strawberries + 1 tbsp chia seeds + stevia, making the whole batch only around 127 calories.

For me as a diabetic mama, I love finding simple swaps that let me enjoy something sweet while being more mindful of my carbs and added sugar. 🍓

Strawberries are naturally sweet and provide fiber, vitamin C, antioxidants, and other nutrients, while chia seeds add extra fiber and healthy fats. Fiber can help with fullness and may support blood-glucose management.

The key is still portion control. fruit contains carbohydrates, even when there is no added sugar. Choosing frozen fruit without added sugar is a diabetes-friendly option.

Perfect with my whole-wheat toast + cream cheese for a simple strawberry cheesecake-inspired breakfast. 🍓🍞🧀

Small swaps. Simple ingredients. One day at a time. ❤️

One day of fever. No other symptoms. We never imagined it would be a severe UTI. 💔

We’re so thankful we had our baby checked right away because early detection made all the difference. This has been one of the hardest moments for us as parents, but we’re trusting God through it all.

After 3 days in the hospital, we’re finally going home. ❤️ Although our baby hasn’t fully recovered yet, we’re thankful for his progress. His urine test improved from having too numerous to count pus cells to just 8–10.

This experience taught us that even with proper hygiene, UTIs can still happen. We changed his diaper every 3 hours—whether it was wet or not—and used quality diapers and wipes, yet he still developed a severe UTI. Our doctor explained that baby boys are naturally more prone to urinary tract infections because of their anatomy.

One thing we learned is that UTIs in young babies may not always show obvious symptoms. In our case, our 3-month-old only had a fever for one day, and that was enough to bring us to the hospital, where we discovered he had a severe UTI.

To all parents: never ignore a fever in a young baby, even if they seem completely fine. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a huge difference. We’re grateful we trusted our instincts and sought medical care right away. 🙏💙

Day 9 of my calorie deficit. 💚
Diabetic Journey Update

Today’s meals were simple, balanced, and kept me full while staying within my goals.
Ending my day with my dinner 2-hours blood sugar at 97 mg/dL, reminding me that eating the right portions and choosing balanced meals really works for me.

I still wasn’t able to walk today because I’m taking care of my sick baby, but I’m giving myself grace. Right now, my priority is my baby’s recovery while still doing my best to stay on track with my health. One day at a time. 🫶
