“NAG-ARESTO BAGO NAGHANAP NG EBIDENSYA” — FUJIKI, KINUWESTYON ANG CREDIBILITY NG ICC
Matinding batikos ang pinakawalan ni Shunichi Fujiki, Managing Director ng International Career Support Association (ICSA), laban sa International Criminal Court (ICC) kaugnay ng patuloy na pagkakadetine ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ayon kay Fujiki, nawawala na umano ang kredibilidad ng ICC dahil sa paraan ng paghawak nito sa kaso ng dating pangulo.
“The ICC continues to put on a show of productivity, driven purely by financial incentives. To justify their existence, they desperately seek credit and achievements; however, their recent actions are entirely misguided and have deeply damaged their own credibility.”
Iginiit din niya na hindi umano katanggap-tanggap ang matagal na pagkakadetine ni Duterte habang nagpapatuloy ang proseso ng kaso.
“The prolonged detention of former President Duterte without any formal charges is nothing less than a crime against humanity.”
Pinunto rin ni Fujiki na binaligtad umano ng ICC ang tamang proseso ng batas.
“They executed an arrest first, only to begin building a case afterward.”
Dahil dito, nanawagan siya na buwagin na umano ang ICC.
“This institution must be dissolved immediately.”
