SERVICE IN ACTION

The Rotary Club of Parañaque Metro donated tables and chairs to Kammalig Inc., a cooperative of fisherfolk in Rosario, Cavite, as part of its continuing commitment to community service.

The furniture, generously donated by PP Lea Recomite, was personally turned over by PP Randy Pabona to Kammalig Inc.

This initiative was made possible through a collaboration with the Benilde Interior Design Exhibiting Batch of 2026, as part of their renovation project in support of the cooperative.

Through meaningful partnerships, we transform resources into opportunities and create spaces that serve and empower communities.

Learning Through Fellowship and Service

The Rotary Club of Parañaque Metro was proudly represented by PP Lilibeth De La Cruz and PP MJ Alovera at the weekly membership meeting of the Rotary Club of Manila District 3810, held at Fairmont Hotel on August 8, 2026.

The meeting featured the First 1,000 Days advocacy of our District Governor Nominee, Former Senator Joey Lina, emphasizing the critical importance of maternal and child health, nutrition, and early childhood development during the first 1,000 days of life.

The Rotary Club of Parañaque Metro donated ₱7,500 to San Lorenzo Ruiz Learning Center in Baco, Oriental Mindoro, to support the purchase of blackboards for Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4. This contribution aims to enhance the learning environment by providing essential classroom resources that promote more effective teaching and improve students' learning experiences.

Through this initiative, the club continues its commitment to advancing quality education by addressing the immediate needs of underserved schools and helping create a more conducive environment for lifelong learning.

Special thanks to our Project Coordinator, PP Lea Recomite, for her unwavering dedication and commitment to this initiative. Through her continuous support, coordination, and passion for service, this project became possible and made a meaningful impact on the students and teachers of San Lorenzo Ruiz Learning Center. Her leadership and generosity truly embody Rotary's spirit of Service Above Self.
