The renewed experience begins at the threshold.

The façade establishes the point of arrival, while the lobby introduces a shift in atmosphere. Rather than treating old and new as opposites, we approached the transition with restraint using proportion, material, and light to signal change without erasing what came before.

Continuity, expressed through change.

How do you reimagine a place people already remember?

For this long-standing landmark, our approach was not to begin again, but to build on its layers. We designed the architecture and interiors as a continuous experience unfolding across changing levels, with pools and shaded cabanas forming the transition into the surrounding landscape. By night, light traces this movement, giving each layer presence while holding the whole composition together.

A familiar place, shaped for new moments.

A brand proudly made in Manila deserved a space that was too. 🇵🇭🍨

Staying true to Manila Creamery ’s established homegrown identity, our team translated the familiar geometry of gelato scoops and stacked waffle cones into a custom architectural lattice — creating a signature design language unique to the space. Complemented by locally designed lighting and thoughtfully sourced Filipino-made pieces, every detail celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship behind 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒍𝒂 𝑾𝒂𝒚.

Where the day moves through 🌿

Light crosses the floor, doors slide open to bamboo, and the rooms stay quiet enough to feel lived in 🍃🧘🏽

The official site supervisor.
Excellent attention to detail. Even better at sunbathing. 🐕

Designed to flow naturally from one space to another, with light, greenery, and long views guiding the experience throughout the day.🚶🏽‍♀️

The dining area opens to a quiet pocket of bamboo, blurring the line between indoors and out — with the very good site supervisor making the occasional rounds. 🐕

Operable sunshading fins soften the afternoon sun while offering privacy, ventilation, and ever-changing patterns of light and shadow. Which corner would you take your coffee in? 🍃☕️🧘🏻‍♀️

The old trees were here first and we wanted to keep it that way 🏡

This residence was designed around them: cantilevering into the canopy, filtering light through operable fins, and letting greenery find its way into every view.

A wraparound balcony with operable fins creates a shaded transition between indoor living and the surrounding canopy 🌿

Deep overhangs temper heat and glare while framing the existing trees 🌳

Operable timber fins allow the façade to adjust for light, privacy, and airflow 🍃

Quiet shaded spaces shaped for moments beneath the canopy 🏡

When the sun sets, the story continues.✨ The same architecture, built for two different layers of light. 🌌
