Louiese Ann Mendez, UAPGA Camarines Commissioner on ALE and Assistance and UAPGA Camarines Representative, took part in the three-day program, which explored the relationship between architectural design and the Catholic liturgical tradition. Various speakers highlighted the importance of understanding the cultural context in which sacred spaces are created through lectures, case studies, discussions, and guided church tours, making the event more meaningful and insightful.

Today marks the Traslacion Procession of Our Lady of Peรฑafrancia and El Divino Rostro. From the Our Lady of Peรฑafrancia Shrine, the images of the Virgin of Peรฑafrancia and El Divino Rostro will be transferred to Naga Cathedral.

The Traslacion also signifies the beginning of the Peรฑafrancia Festival and the nine-day Novena Masses in honor of Nuestra Seรฑora de Peรฑafrancia, the Patroness of the Bicol Region. We celebrate today the Feast Day of El Divino Rostro. May this year's Traslacion continue to unite the Bicolano community in faith, devotion, and thanksgiving as we honor our beloved Ina.
