2025.

Late nights, early site visits, materials compared, defended, changed—and loved again. Deadlines were real. Revisions were constant. Through all the back-and-forth, we designed through the chaos, trusted the process, and somehow made it look intentional.

Here’s to the clients who believed, the collaborators who showed up, and the ideas that refused to stay on paper.

Wrapped with gratitude,
Ar. Montejo & Ar. Tecson

Designed to be as cozy and comfortable as possible, the bedroom embraces limewash-painted walls, a textured wood headboard, woven rugs, and earth-toned accents. The windows are layered with sheer and blackout curtains to balance privacy and natural light.

The open-headroom closet, carefully planned with partitions for personalized storage of clothing and accessories, is finished with oak-wood siding and limewash doors for visual consistency. A pair of locally handmade armchairs with cream-upholstered seats completes the room.

The toilet and bath maintain a minimal approach, highlighted by a wall-to-wall vanity and a fixed hanging rod for laundry.

The dining area retained its original wooden table, elevated by an organic-shaped mirror to create depth and a sense of visual expansion in the space.

Opposite, a full-height cabinetry system blends seamlessly with the wall. Its rounded edges minimize sharp corners and reduce the risk of accidental bumps for added safety.

At its center is a stone-topped counter framed with laminated oakwood cupboards, serving as a coffee bar.

A built-in suspended nook made of laminated board spans the full width of the window wall in the living area, offering a personal spot for meditation and reading.

To match the overall look, the existing sofa was refined by enclosing its legs in oakwood and extending it to form a narrow platform for books and other personal items.

The unit opens to a warm entryway clad in laminated wood.

A reconfigurable pegboard and shelving for everyday essentials were integrated, along with a low-hung ledge that functions both as seating and as a stepping stool for the floor-to-ceiling shoe cabinet.

In the kitchen, concealed satin handles on oakwood and limewash cabinetry and a stone-topped counter were featured.

Taking cues from Japanese and Scandinavian design influences—often referred to as Japandi—we curated a material palette rooted in muted, neutral tones and textured natural materials.

The selection process was guided by the intent to match with the unit’s retained elements like the existing floor tiles, sofa fabric, and dining set.
