The biggest tower crane in the Philippines and Southeast Asia to be used in a high rise building construction… The massive 100-tonner tower crane is made by Techway Machinery Corporation of China and weighs more than 650 tons. It can be upgraded to 150 ton capacity with a few minor upgrade on its luffing and hoist winch. Erected for the Bench Headquarters project located in Bonifacio Global City and owned by Monolith Construction and Development Corporation. ⛑️👷🏻‍♂️🏗️

Why is a U-Trap provided at the AHU condensate drain outlet?

During cooling operation, condensate collects in the AHU drain pan and flows through the drain pipe.

When the AHU operates under negative pressure, air can be pulled through the drain pipe if there is no proper trap. This can disturb condensate drainage and may lead to water accumulation or drain-pan overflow.

The solution? - U-Trap / P-Trap

The trap holds water and creates a water seal, preventing unwanted air from entering through the drain line while allowing condensate to drain properly.

Working Load Limit of Cables⛑️🧐🙏👍

This chart is not just numbers. It's a life-saving tool for every Rigger, Engineer & Safety Professional.

This is the Working Load Limit (WLL) chart for Flemish Eye Splice Wire Rope Slings.

Many lifting failures happen not because the sling is weak, but because we use the WRONG HITCH or ignore the ANGLE.

1. Vertical Lift (90°): Direct lift. 100% capacity.
2. Choker Hitch (90°): When you wrap around the load. Capacity REDUCES by ∼25%. Example: 1/2" sling = 5000 lbs vertical, but only 3800 lbs in choker.
3. Basket Hitch (90°): Load supported by both ends. Capacity DOUBLES. Same 1/2" sling can lift 10200 lbs.

The Most Important Part: BRIDLE ANGLE
Look at the 2-Part Bridle Sling:
Same 1/2" sling lifts 8800 lbs at 60° but only 7200 lbs at 45°.

Remember: As the angle decreases, the tension INCREASES. Never lift below 30°.

3 Golden Rules Before Any Lift:
1. Know your load weight
2. Check the sling size, hitch type and angle from the chart
3. Never exceed the WLL - Always check for damage, kinks & TPI certificate

Safety is not just about compliance, it's about ensuring everyone goes home safe.
