Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go met with PCon International Corp. executives in Hong Kong to discuss the companyโ€™s expansion plans in the Philippines.
PCon International Corp., an AAC block manufacturer, shared plans to invest in additional production lines and expand its construction materials business, particularly for infrastructure, housing, and socialised housing projects. The company is also pursuing registration with the Board of Investments to avail of incentives under the CREATE MORE Act.

The company will focus on supporting housing projects in Luzon by providing high-quality AAC blocks to help enable their implementation. It also expressed its commitment to support the Philippine construction sector across all dimensions.
The planned expansion can bring new technologies, investments, and job opportunities to the country while supporting the delivery of more affordable homes for Filipino families.
