The experience of a space begins long before its destination.

At the Cinema of SM Zamboanga, lighting was designed to do more than illuminate. Continuous linear lighting defines the architecture, guides movement, and creates a sense of rhythm from the lobby to the cinema corridors. The result is a space that feels welcoming, intuitive, and memorable before the movie even begins.

Individual step lighting is a small detail that changes how a stair is experienced at night.

Each tread is illuminated clearly, while the ceiling cove and wall lighting add warmth, depth, and balance to the space.

A warm arrival in the carport of a residence.

Soft illumination highlights the ceiling, textured wall, and surrounding landscape after dark.

Grateful for clients who value the details.

Layered lighting was the approach for the Balmori Penthouse, built to work with the architecture rather than sit on top of it.

Individual step lighting on the staircase creates a soft glow that guides movement without a single overhead source. A cascading chandelier of hand blown glass orbs becomes the focal point of the double-height volume, drawing the eye upward through the space. Cove lighting integrated into the ceiling adds a gentle wash across the high walls, keeping the room warm at night. High CRI luminaires were specified so the timber floors, leather furniture, and greenery hold their true color under artificial light.

More shots of the Rockwell pedestrian bridge after dark ✨

The steel trusses catch the light like a ribbon cutting through the towers. Worth pausing on if you're walking through the area at night.

Almost ready.

We're carrying out the final lighting review for one of our latest church projects before it opens.

A number of on-site refinements are still underway. These final adjustments are often the most important, ensuring every detail supports the architecture and creates the intended atmosphere while staying true to the original design intent.

We look forward to sharing the completed project soon.

Before the light, there's the work.

Scaffolding, open ceilings, and a team working at height. This is what happens before a space comes to life. The process is behind the scenes but necessary. Every fixture, every cable, every decision made before the lights finally come on.

There's a quiet power in a well-lit entrance.

The main façade of SM City Zamboanga draws you in from the street. Crisp vertical lines of light, a glowing identity sign, and a canopy that signals arrival. Inside, the secondary entry court carries that same intentionality, with sculptural ring pendants and a geometric ceiling that transforms an in-between space into a moment worth pausing for.

From outside to inside, every transition was designed with purpose.

Behind the scenes during a site review for a church project.

While drawings and specifications establish the design intent, some decisions are best evaluated in the actual space. Reviewing the lighting on site allows the team to assess visual emphasis, balance, and how the light supports both the architecture and the character of the church.

These final reviews help ensure that the design intent is carried through to the completed project.
