With a limited 8m x 8m footprint and demanding kitchen requirements, the design responds through strategic zoning and spatial efficiency. The rear half is dedicated to a fully functional baking kitchen. At the same time, the front is carefully divided to accommodate both service and dining, featuring counter seating on one side and a cozy dining area on the other.

Extending beyond the interior, the outdoor space serves a dual purpose as parking and alfresco seating, creating a seamless and inviting experience despite spatial constraints.

A residential renovation in Bacolod designed to enhance comfort and breathability for a growing family. The project emphasizes natural ventilation and daylight through wider window openings and a permeable street-facing screen, establishing a balanced relationship between openness, privacy, and security suited to the local tropical climate.

Minimal finishes, neutral tones, and clean architectural lines define the homeโ€™s renewed character. Warm accents and soft exterior lighting articulate the faรงade, allowing light and shadow to animate the structure throughout the day while reinforcing a calm, contemporary, and welcoming living environment.

Conceived as a welcoming neighborhood dining hub, Nenengโ€™s Food Corner was designed to transform a compact roadside lot into an efficient, comfortable, and visually memorable space. The concept centers on openness and transparency: wide glass frontage, lightweight steel framing, and a generous canopy create visual continuity between interior and exterior dining areas, encouraging foot traffic while enhancing natural ventilation.

The palette combines warm lighting, greenery, and textured finishes to humanize the structure and establish a casual yet contemporary identity. Circulation paths, seating layouts, and service zones were carefully organized to maximize capacity and operational flow without compromising comfort.

Delivered under an accelerated one-month design timeline and parallel construction, the project required rigorous coordination with the contractor and structural engineer, as well as strategic on-site adjustments. Despite geographic constraints, disciplined documentation and responsive decision-making ensured the design intent was preserved throughout construction.

Upon opening, the restaurant exceeded the clientโ€™s expectations in both customer turnout and overall ambienceโ€”demonstrating how thoughtful architectural planning, even under tight constraints, can elevate a modest program into a distinctive dining destination.
