An Early Design Study of an Existing Warehouse in Mandaluyong

The Existing
We began by understanding the warehouse as it was, its structure, open floor plates, high ceilings, and existing industrial character.
Site and Context
Access, movement, noise, existing open spaces, lighting and ventilation helped us understand the opportunities around the existing warehouse.
Imagining New Possibilities
We imagined a place that could change throughout the day, bringing together food, work, culture, recreation, events and making.
An Urban Innovation and Creative Hub
A new layer of spaces. And activities, while allowing the warehouse’s existing structure and industrial character to remain part of experience.
Opening portions of the warehouse for daylight and ventilation. Connect the existing bays to introduce new spaces within the existing shell.
