This 100-year-old former post office is now Utrecht’s central library.
Utrecht’s Neude Library occupies the city’s monumental former main post office, designed by Joseph Crouwel Jr. and completed in 1924. After the post office closed in 2011, the building was transformed by Rijnboutt and Zecc Architecten into a public library — keeping its dramatic parabolic brick arches, glazed roof, and Amsterdam School character alive.
