SIP26 ASTE Design Competition — People’s Choice Award
After weeks of collaboration, creativity, mentorship, and love for architecture, our SIP26 studios have completed their final submissions for the ASTE Design Competition.
Now, it’s your turn to show your support!
We invite everyone to check out the design boards of all 8 SIP26 studios and vote for your favorite submission.
For Facebook, all studio submissions will be posted together in one album/post.
For Instagram, each studio will have its own individual post.
To vote, simply like or react to the photo/post of the studio submission you want to support. You may also share the post to help your chosen studio gain more votes.
The winner will be determined by the highest total number of likes/reactions and shares accumulated from both Facebook and Instagram.
Voting starts on SUNDAY July 26, 2026 and ends on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.

SIP26 ASTE Design Competition — Day Two
Today marks the final day of presentations for the SIP26 ASTE Design Competition.
Join us this Friday, July 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM as we continue to witness the work, ideas, and design journeys of our SIP26 studios.
After more than four weeks of collaboration, creativity, challenges, mentorship, and love for design and architecture, our interns will present their proposals for the ASTE Design Competition — a studio-based design challenge rooted in community, inclusivity, and meaningful architecture.
With 8 studios and over 70 interns and mentors, SIP26 continues to celebrate the importance of inclusive education — creating spaces where learning, design, and architecture can be shared openly with everyone.

SIP26 ASTE Design Competition

After over four weeks of collaboration, challenges, creativity, and love for design and architecture, SIP26 begins its ASTE Design Competition Presentations.
This year’s brief, The Asterisk Community, challenges the studios to design a vibrant and inclusive community for Filipino artists and artisans, supported by spaces for governance, commerce, healthcare, education, artistic creation, recreation, and community life.
With 8 studios, over 70 interns and mentors, and weeks of hard work, we invite everyone to join us and witness each studio present their ideas, process, and vision.

SIP26 DESIGN COMPETITION
The Asterisk Community*
a studio-based design competition
After two weeks of talks, learning, and discourse, SIP26 moves into its next phase: the SIP26 Asterisk Design Competition*.
From July 1–15, 2026, SIP26 interns will work in their respective studios to collaborate, exchange ideas, and develop their design proposals as a community of different experiences, skills, schools, and backgrounds.
Before the competition begins, all SIP26 interns are invited to attend the official design competition briefing. Emails with Zoom Links will be sent to each studio by your mentors.
During the briefing, we will discuss the design competition brief, schedule, requirements, and important reminders. This will also be an opportunity for each studio to ask questions and begin huddling as a team.
Studio presentations will be held on July 16–17, 2026, with the winning studios to be awarded during the SIP26 Culminating Activity on July 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM via Zoom.
You don’t want to miss it.
