Before a steel structure stands, a gate operates, or water flows through a penstock, people must turn engineering drawings into carefully fabricated and installed components.
That is the work experience we bring to PREMCON.
With active projects in Laos and the Philippines, we continue to build on our core team’s experience in hydropower, industrial construction, steel fabrication, mechanical installation, and project management.
Today, we are sharing a closer look at that experience—and the people and work behind it.
🔹 EXPERIENCE BUILT THROUGH HANDS-ON WORK
Our core team’s project experience includes the Caliraya, Botocan, and Kalayaan Hydro Complex in the Philippines; Nam Ngum 2, Xayaburi, Nam Kong 2, and Nam Kong 3 in Laos; and the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme in South Africa.
Across these projects, our team’s experience covers the management, supervision, implementation, and quality control of demanding fabrication and installation activities.
These experiences continue to shape how we approach our work at Premcon: understand the requirements, plan carefully, coordinate the people, and pay attention to the details.
🔹 FROM THE FABRICATION SHOP TO THE PROJECT SITE
Our work in action includes steel cutting, fitting, welding, assembly, lifting, positioning, and installation.
Our core team’s experience covers penstocks and steel liners, bifurcations, gates, stoplogs, trash racks, and other hydro-mechanical components.
The photographs we share show the scale and variety of this work—from fabricated gate panels and large steel assemblies to mechanical equipment and installation activities.
Every component requires skilled workmanship. Every installation requires coordination. Every stage deserves attention to safety and quality.
🔹 EXPERIENCE BEYOND HYDROPOWER
Our core team’s background also includes propane sphere fabrication and er****on in the Philippines, together with storage tank and pipework projects in Sudan.
This wider industrial experience supports our ability to understand different site conditions, fabrication requirements, and construction challenges.
At Premcon, we apply that knowledge to practical engineering and construction solutions for our clients.
