There’s nothing wrong with choosing your peace over people.

And sometimes, those boundaries mean distancing yourself from people who don’t align with who you’re becoming. It’s not about hate or ego—it’s about clarity.

You’re allowed to choose yourself.

To protect your energy. To walk away from what no longer feels right. To create space for better, healthier connections.

Hedy Lamarr, a star of Hollywood's golden age, was an Austrian child prodigy who, before shining on screen, initially pursued studies in the field of engineering.

During World War II, Lamarr used her technical expertise to assist the U.S. government, identifying critical vulnerabilities in radio-controlled torpedo systems used by the military.

Alongside composer George Antheil, she invented a "frequency-hopping" communication system inspired by piano keys, a technique that successfully prevented signals from being jammed or intercepted.

This invention served as the technological precursor to modern WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Although her recognition arrived decades late, she is globally celebrated as a telecommunications pioneer.
