Rooted in Davao's thriving coffee industry, the 𝗦𝗙 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶-𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 is a long-term investment in the future of Philippine agriculture, weaving coffee production, innovation, education, tourism, and community engagement into one integrated masterplan. Far East Architects was engaged to shape this vision into a coherent framework, one able to hold the full range of the client's ambitions within a single site.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. As the first development of its kind in the region, FEA's masterplan turns the center into a working ecosystem, where growers, learners, and enterprise intersect and 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The result sets a new benchmark for agri-tourism in the Philippines, strengthening Davao's identity as a center for coffee excellence and showing how thoughtful planning can drive sustainable growth for generations to come.

To engage with people and create an interactive outdoor space, FEA has aligned with Anflo Industrial Estate's vision to offer world-class facilities for businesses to grow, innovate, and create an environment attracting global opportunities.

Beyond the buildings, the AIE Business and Lifestyle Park masterplan makes room for how people actually live and recharge. A running oval and open-air fitness zones invite movement into daily routine, while a retention pond anchors the site with a calmer, more natural rhythm. An event space ties it all together, giving the community a place to gather, celebrate, and connect.

Nestled in the Island Garden City of Samal, the proposed expansion of CASAS CON VISTAS RESORT weaves new beachfront villas, a spa, indoor yoga, a multipurpose hall, and dual infinity pools into the fabric of an already beloved retreat, without losing what makes it feel like itself.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. A landscaped accessible pathway becomes the unifying thread, connecting every corner of the resort while the site's natural slope and coastal orientation guide each new addition to step down toward the shoreline and claim its own framed view of the sea. 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅

A new commercial lifestyle center taking shape in Davao City — bringing retail, dining, wellness, and leisure together in one walkable, two-storey complex just outside downtown.

Positioned on a major corner lot, the development is designed for easy access and strong street visibility for every tenant. The layout is built around open-air walkways, landscaped courtyards, and semi-outdoor spaces that bring in natural ventilation and encourage everyday movement and gathering — not just transactions.

Parking is provided well beyond code minimums, alongside street-facing tenant frontages that keep the complex open and connected to the surrounding community rather than turned inward.

Finished in a contemporary palette of glass, steel, and wood, the design blurs the line between indoors and out — practical for tenants to operate, and inviting for the people who'll spend time there.

𝗙𝗘𝗔𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗗 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

Nestled in the rolling terrain of Toril, Davao City, D Residence is a residential project where the site itself became the primary design driver. The lot's pronounced slope — often a complicating factor in residential construction — determined the layout, the sectional relationships between spaces, and how the structure meets the ground at each level.

Rather than imposing a conventional floor plan onto difficult terrain, the design works with the topography. Levels and transitions follow the natural gradient, giving the home a sense of rootedness that flat-lot construction rarely achieves. The spatial flow moves intuitively through the site, balancing stability with comfort for its residents.

The project stands as an example of how site constraints, when taken seriously, can become the defining character of a home rather than obstacles to overcome.

Designed to reflect the energetic spirit of the brand, the concept store blends playful contemporary design with subtle Filipino influences to create a space that feels fresh, welcoming, and distinctly local. Every detail captures the warmth, creativity, and pride behind Davao’s chocolate story.

More than just a retail space, the store is imagined as a unique chocolate destination where Davaoeños can proudly bring friends and visitors from out of town to experience the best of local cacao craftsmanship.

The 6-Villa Siargao Resort is a completed design project in 2025, created as a boutique destination that blends comfort, privacy, and the natural beauty of Siargao. Each villa is thoughtfully planned to connect with the outdoors, maximize views, and create a relaxing island atmosphere guests will keep coming back to.

From planning to architecture and spatial experience, the design focuses on simplicity, local character, and a seamless indoor and outdoor lifestyle that fits perfectly with the island setting.
