Last Friday, September 11, 2026, EBATECH Corp. celebrated the official Turnover Ceremony from Former Chairman and President Engr. Ernesto B. Abunda, Jr. P.E.E. to our New Chairman and President, Engr. Kelvin Thomas D. Abunda.

Joined by our Board Members—Ms. Agnes D. Abunda, Engr. Archimedes Reyes, and Atty. Rex Mangubat—and the entire EBATECH team from the Head Office to all our sites in Luzon and Mindanao, the event was a true celebration of oneness and progress.

To cap off the meaningful occasion, the EBATECH family pulled off a special birthday surprise for our new Chairman and President!

The Internal Audit Team of EBATECH CORP. successfully completed a comprehensive 2-day training on ISO 19011:2018 (Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems) last July 15–16, 2026.

Under the expert guidance of URS Trainer Engr. Donnabel V. Cornero, both our seasoned and newly appointed internal auditors across various departments deepened their expertise to ensure our processes continuously meet top standards.

A huge congratulations to the team led by IMR Virgilio Francisco Jr., alongside our internal audit members:

𝙎𝙈𝙁𝙄 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙀𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙

We are proud to announce the successful energization of one (1) 5/7.5 MVA, 69/6.6 kV outdoor substation for the SMFI Feedmill Cebu Plant—a major milestone achieved through the dedication, expertise, and teamwork of the entire EBATECH Team.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our CEO, Engr. Kelvin Thomas D. Abunda, and our Chairman of the Board and President, Engr. Ernesto B. Abunda Jr., P*E, for their steadfast leadership and support. We also thank ATI-PEG and ATI-CM for their presence and participation in witnessing this successful energization.

Special recognition goes to the project team led by Project Manager Engr. Christopher M. Caberte and Project-in-Charge Engr. John Christian Langcamon, together with the Technical Services Department, headed by Engr. Lester Louise Dayday, Testing and Commissioning Department, managed by Engr. Peter Paul Laurente, Engineering Design Department, and the entire Electrical Team.

We likewise acknowledge the valuable support of Civil Site Engineer Engr. Fiona Caputol, Electrical Site Engineer Engr. Christian Gesim, Technical Engineer Engr. Ronilo J. Orongan Jr., Safety Officer Wilson Llenes, and the entire support team, whose commitment and hard work contributed greatly to this achievement.

𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.

The successful energization of the 69kV 20MVA Substation and 13.2kV Switchgear System at our project site in Brgy. Balsic, Hermosa, Bataan on March 30, 2026 marks a major milestone in strengthening reliable power infrastructure. This achievement was led by Engr. Jasper Orcullo, alongside Engr. Junflor Zabate and the committed project team.

The 1200kVA Melter Booster Equipment for San Miguel Yamamura Corporation- Cebu Glass Plant was successfully heated last March 12, 2026. Following a one-week stabilization period, the Varivolt Transformer is scheduled for energization, subject to final inspection and commissioning by the supplier, as it will serve as the power source for the electrodes.

All prerequisite activities, including inspections, testing, and preparatory works required prior to energization, have been completed and verified.

We extend our formal recognition to all engineers and operating personnel for their technical expertise, strict adherence to quality standards, and coordinated ex*****on of all pre-energization activities. Their contributions in ensuring system integrity, compliance, and operational readiness have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.
