Proposed Development of a Sports Complex

In the same central axis from the municipal complex, a new Sports Complex is to be developed symbolizing the municipal’s growth, talent and innovation.

The Sports Complex’s entrance is emphasized by the canopy’s form taken from the modern take of its architectural motif and identity. It directly opens up to the main road axis towards the municipal complex, creating a symbolic and functional relationship between the two sites.

The site includes a grandstand as the main focal point of the development, with the same architectural treatment as the entrance canopy, capable of hosting bigger sporting and local events.

Proposed Redevelopment of a Municipal Complex

Preserving the architectural motifs and echoing the character of the municipal hall into the newer structures, are some of the ideas for the concept of the redevelopment of this municipal complex in Cebu province.

Though placed on the center of the complex, the asymmetrical placement of structures posed as a challenge in highlighting the municipal hall as the center structure.

To visually center the municipal hall, it is framed with a sculptural landmark and its facade is extended to provide for a porte cochere.
