A day of introductions, connections, and new beginnings. 🏛️✨

ARCQUAINTANCE 2026 brought together Architecture freshmen, senior students, and faculty for an afternoon of getting to know one another and welcoming a new generation into the architecture community.

Alongside the gathering, the opening of the exhibit featured selected works from former first year Architecture students and instructors from the Architecture Department, offering our freshmen a glimpse into the creativity, growth, and possibilities that await them in their architectural journey.

Here’s to new faces, new connections, and the beginning of a journey built together. 🩵🧡🤍

𝑨𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑵𝒆𝒘𝒔

A wonderful and meaningful meeting yesterday August 9, 2026 with one of the former University Presidents of the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Rev. Fr. Christopher C. Maspara, OAR. It was an honor to meet someone who played an important role in the university’s history and who proposed the Quadricentennial Building.

Truly grateful for the opportunity to meet and hear from someone who helped shape the USJ-R we know today. 💙✏️

UNIFORM REMINDERS | A.Y. 2026–2027

As we return to campus, all students are reminded to come in polished, proper, and in accordance with the prescribed uniform standards of the University.

Starting August 10, 2026, all Old Students and Returnees are required to wear their complete prescribed school uniform.

Freshmen and Transferees are given until September 14, 2026 to comply with the prescribed school uniform. However, those who already have their uniforms are encouraged to wear them starting August 10.

For students whose uniforms have not yet been released, you may visit the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) to secure a uniform exemption. Kindly present your official receipt for verification.

FOR WOMEN
• Official school ID
• Necktie
• Long-sleeve blouse
• College skirt (below the knee)
• Black school shoes

FOR MEN
• Official school ID
• USJ-R polo
• Battle-green pants
• Plain black leather shoes with black or dark socks
• Polo should be properly fitted and worn neatly

Wearing the prescribed uniform properly reflects the discipline, respect, and pride of being a Josenian. As we begin another academic year, your SSC is with you in upholding these standards and representing our Josenian community with pride.
