𝘈 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝙙𝙪𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙪𝙗𝙖𝙞 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨. 𝘛𝘸𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴; 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩, 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚. 🌿🏜️

At 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀, we listen — and we 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.

Designed for rental purposes, this 26 SQM studio was entrusted to us by its owner while they were miles away and abroad.

But with the owner returning home to the Philippines, it needed to become a 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚 to them first. A space they could comfortably use during their visit — before eventually transitioning into a rental once they returned to Dubai.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁?

Working closely from afar, we explored layout options in our drawing boards ‘til we managed to translate the owner’s preferences into a carefully curated palette.

01 — 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻
We made a list and got to know the project needs first. Identified the intention of the space and understood the owner’s needs, preferences, and vision.

02 — 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻
We explored different moods, schemes, and developed the layout, palette, materials, furniture, and overall look until approved.

03 — 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲
We handled papers and permits to admins, took care of sourcing, design selections, and cost estimates, and coordinated with tied-up suppliers, and so much more.

04 — 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗲
We made punch-lists of deliverables, led in assembly of furniture and custom builds, and brought everything together on site, up to final styling and documentation.

05 — 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲
A fully transformed studio ✨

The result is 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 — creating visual depth, spatial balance, and a sense of identity within a compact footprint.

𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦:

The concept, 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙙 & 𝙎𝙖𝙜𝙚, draws from two landscapes close to the owner’s heart.

We intentionally selected the wall art to reflect this duality — Dubai’s warm, sun-kissed desert sands by the bedside, contrasted with the lush Philippine tropics beside the custom media console. 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩.

Together, these elements create a visual dialogue between desert warmth and tropical calm, carried through white oak, organic textures, muted earth tones, soft pastels, and layered neutrals — creating a interior that feels sun-warmed yet grounded, fresh yet familiar.

And 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, we brought the transformation together in just about 30 days.

— 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 —

This week, 2 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙜𝙤, on June 11 & 13, was when I took the 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙖𝙢. At that time, I had no clue whether this path would truly be for me. All I knew was that I 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮.

But what’s amazing about our God is that He already knows exactly 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 and 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚, even when we don’t.

Just like birds knowing how to fly because 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 is already within them, and fish knowing how to swim because 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙬𝙞𝙢 is already there, we too have 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 within us all along.

Looking back, that season marked 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙. From uncertainty came direction. From feeling unready came the courage to take the first step.

Today, I practice my profession as a 𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩, specializing in architectural interiors, leading a humble start-up studio with a tiny team of 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 who are yet building their tomorrow. For that alone, I am grateful.

Once a student too, turned into apprentice, to board passer, and now a young leader, consultant, and 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡.

And I know I am still far from who I am meant to be, but 𝙛𝙖𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙄 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚.

Everything was built 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙗𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥. It was never about perfection, but about 𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — the bravery to believe and remain committed to what you have started.

Today, as a 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮, we continue to believe in building with intention, growing through experience, and staying steady in the process.

This 2BR unit wasn’t just renovated.
It was redefined. It was 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙.

Designed for a young couple navigating the daily of working from home, the goal was clear: create a space that feels grounding yet inspiring — 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡, but still 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚. 💻☁️

We moved away from bright neutrals and stepped into depth.

Layered tones.
Textured walls.
Intentional contrast.
