The Primary Group of Builders celebrates 75 years of building, growing, and creating lasting value.

From its beginnings as a construction business in 1951 to becoming a diversified organization spanning Construction and Manufacturing, Real Estate and Property Development, Maritime and Logistics, Human Capital Development, and Health and Lifestyle, the Group’s journey has been shaped by trust, partnerships, resilience, and the people behind every milestone.

Held on August 5, 2026, at Maayo Hotel in Mandaue, Cebu, the 75th anniversary celebration brought together leaders and long-standing partners to honor the relationships that have helped build the Group’s enduring legacy.

A highlight of the celebration, “A Symphony of 75 Years: 75 Years in 75 Minutes,” brought the Group’s journey to life through music and storytelling—reflecting decades of growth, challenges, reinvention, and the unwavering values that continue to guide its path forward.

With 75 years as its foundation, the Primary Group of Builders looks ahead with renewed commitment to sustainable growth, responsible leadership, strategic innovation, and Building Better Tomorrows.

PRIMARY GROUP OF BUILDERS: 75 YEARS OF FULFILLED PROMISES

The homegrown Primary Group of Builders earmarked its 75th year with a marquee celebration on August 5 at Maayo Hotel.

Top-billing the gathering was a 75-minute musical performance that clinched the histories of the core businesses of the group – construction and manufacturing, real estate and property management, education and human capital development, maritime and logistics, and health and lifestyle.

Tracing its beginnings to 1951, the group started with a single family-owned construction company that, through hard work, determination and unyielding professionalism, became a contributor and game-changer in Cebu’s continuing ascension as the Queen City of the South.

Leading the celebration was the Primary Group of Builders’ William C. Liu. Attended by industry affiliates, partners and stakeholders, the gathering was one of its many 75th-year celebration highlights.
