The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) issued a Demand Control Imminent Warning for Visayan Electric with a demand reduction duration from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM due to Visayas Grid-wide limited generation resulting from the non-availability of import power from the Mindanao grid.
A scheduled one-hour rotational brownout may be implemented due to the Red Alert Status over the Visayas Grid.
