Hindi ibig sabihin na hindi tayo maghahanda sa El Niño — of course we should prepare and be ready. Pero please lang, iwasan na ang sobrang pananakot sa epekto nito. Ginagawa na lang kasing dahilan ang El Niño para mag-hoard at magtaas ng presyo ng tubig — kaya napapraning na ang mga tao.

Facts don’t need fear to be heard. Being alert is one thing — but scaring people just gives others the perfect excuse to profit from our worry. Maghanda, oo — pero huwag hayaang ang takot ang magdikta sa atin.
